TDAC confirmation never arrived: what travellers should know
If you submitted your Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) and the confirmation email never arrived, you’re not alone. Many travellers encounter this issue — but it doesn’t automatically mean your submission failed. Understanding what’s happening — and what to do next — is essential before your trip to Thailand.
First, confirm whether your TDAC was actually submitted
The most common reason for a missing confirmation is that the form wasn’t fully completed or submitted on the official portal. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) must be submitted via the government’s only authorised platform: https://tdac.immigration.go.th. This is the sole official portal. No other website, app, or third party is endorsed by Thai immigration authorities. During submission, users must: If you didn’t see that reference number, your TDAC was not processed. No confirmation email will be sent unless the system registers a complete submission.
- Enter all required personal and travel details accurately
- Select “Submit” — not just “Save as Draft”
- See the final success screen with a unique TDAC reference number
Check your email inbox thoroughly
TDAC confirmation emails are sent automatically from no-reply@tdac.immigration.go.th. They often land in spam, junk, or promotions folders — especially if you’re using Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail. Search your entire inbox using these terms: Also verify the email address you entered during submission matches the one you’re checking. A single typo — like “gamil.com” instead of “gmail.com” — means the confirmation was sent to an invalid address and bounced silently.
- “TDAC”
- “Thailand Digital Arrival Card”
- “tdac.immigration.go.th”
What if you’re certain you submitted — but still have no confirmation?
The official TDAC portal does not offer a built-in “resend confirmation” button. However, you can log back into the portal using the same email and passport number used at submission. If your application was successfully processed, your TDAC record will appear under “My Submissions”, and you can view or download the confirmation PDF directly. Note: You must access the portal within 3 days before your scheduled arrival in Thailand. After that window closes, the system may archive or remove pending or expired submissions. If you cannot locate your submission after logging in, the safest action is to submit a new TDAC. Multiple submissions are permitted, and only the most recent valid one (within the 3-day window) will be recognised upon arrival. There is no penalty for resubmitting — but avoid submitting outside the allowed timeframe, as entries made more than 72 hours before arrival are invalid.
Our role as an independent service
applythaicard.com is an independent, third-party application assistance service. We are not affiliated with the Royal Thai Government, the Immigration Bureau, or any Thai authority. We charge a flat fee of $15 per traveller to help prepare and submit your TDAC information through the official portal. We do not process applications offline, nor do we store or alter data beyond transmission. All submissions go directly to https://tdac.immigration.go.th, and all confirmations are issued solely by the Thai government system. Because we are not part of the official infrastructure, we cannot retrieve, resend, or validate TDAC confirmations on your behalf. If your confirmation never arrived, we recommend verifying your submission status directly on the official portal first.
Prevention tips for future submissions
To avoid missing your TDAC confirmation next time: No TDAC confirmation is required to be printed — immigration officers scan QR codes from digital devices at arrival. But without proof of submission, you risk delays or being asked to complete the form on the spot, which may not be possible if Wi-Fi or device access is limited upon landing.
- Use a reliable, frequently checked email address — avoid temporary or work domains that filter external messages
- Complete submission during daylight hours (Bangkok time), when technical support channels for the official portal are most responsive
- Take a screenshot of the final submission screen showing your TDAC reference number before closing the browser
- Double-check spelling and formatting of your email and passport number before clicking “Submit”
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a replacement TDAC confirmation email? No — the official portal does not offer a “resend” function. You must log in to https://tdac.immigration.go.th with your original credentials to view or download your confirmation. If login fails or no record appears, submit a new TDAC. Is my TDAC valid if I never received the email but saw the reference number? Yes — the reference number displayed on-screen after successful submission is your official TDAC confirmation. Screenshot it immediately. That number, plus your passport, is sufficient for entry. The email is a convenience, not a requirement. Does applythaicard.com guarantee TDAC approval or delivery of the confirmation? No. We are an independent paid service ($15 per traveller) and not affiliated with any government. We assist with form preparation and submission to the official portal only. We do not control email delivery, system uptime, or immigration decisions. For eligibility, processing rules, or technical issues, always refer to the official portal. Remember: The only source for authoritative TDAC information — including deadlines, eligibility, troubleshooting, and technical support — is https://tdac.immigration.go.th. If your TDAC confirmation never arrived, start there. Verify, resubmit if needed, and allow time to resolve issues before departure. Safe travels to Thailand.
